SERMONS

At Cornerstone we are committed to Christ-Centred, God-Exalting, Expositional Preaching.

Christ-Centered: Jesus taught that all of Scripture bears witness to Him (Luke 24:25-27, 44-47; John 5:39). We therefore believe that all preaching must communicate the centrality of the person and work of Jesus Christ in all things. 

God-Exalting: Our aim in preaching is to glorify God as both Creator and Redeemer (Rom. 11:36; 1 Cor. 10:31; Rev. 4:11, 5:9-14). Our desire in preaching is to therefore give attention to the greatness and glory of God in all things. 

Expositional: We seek to proclaim the truth of the Biblical text in accordance with its historical, canonical, and literary contexts and grammatical composition; and to then apply the truth of Scripture to all of life.
